Word of Welcome!

Welcome to Living For Christ - The Blog!  This blog was created out of our desire to share God inspired wisdom, knowledge, and truth that is continually being placed on our hearts, blatantly in our face through scripture and through fellow Christians with gifts of wisdom/knowledge/prophecy, and from personal convictions and revelations from the Holy Spirit.  This blog was also created out of our desperation to see Chrisitians start living 100% uncompromisingly for God in the name of Jesus Christ, the way HE COMMANDS US to do it in the Bible (not what we think is necessary or unnecessary because it's 2010).  Each of us individually (The Blog Administrators) have our own testimony and story to tell, but what's in common is our devout love for Christ and the desire to SEEK God, to do HIS WILL for our lives, to learn HIS Word and to share it, and to help ourselves and others edify theirselves through HIS WORD so we can all be used effectively in the Body of Christ and ultimately so we can reach our reward - to worship God almighty and live eternally in Heaven!  In Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus says "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform miracles?'  Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you.  Away from me, you evildoers!'"  So we have work to do my fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ!  It's not enough to just accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and yet have no real relationship with him, not change any of our behaviors, or to never seek out HIS WILL or learn HIS WORD.  Yes, the Bible says we are saved by Faith through Grace and not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9).  This scripture is written in reference to the legalistic approach to salvation by the Pharisees and other religious parties at the time (we'll discuss this later, but please be encouraged to do your own Bible Studies and Research).  In James 2:17-19, James says "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.  But someone will say, 'You have faith; I have deeds.'  Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.  You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that - and shudder."  So again, we have work do to Brothers and Sisters in Christ.  Let's work together on this Christian Walk of ours!  Below, please feel free to let us know you stopped by!  We'd love to hear from you!  Let us know what City or Country you're from, when you got saved or if you would like to receive and discuss salvation, and any particular topics you would like us to discuss or any comments you may have.  You can also reach us by email at sellingoutforchrist@gmail.com.

Be Blessed & Encouraged,

Sister Truth Seeker
